Today Herbert headed to Dar es Salaam (about five hours from Korogwe) in an attempt to have our tax exemption check released. By going to the ministry of finance, we are hoping he can get through some red tape very quickly. The check normally has to go through many steps that we want to skip if possible. The ministry of finance in Dar is very busy and handles all the finances for the country which is why it can take months to get the check. We are praying Herbert finds some official in Dar to help him out. The Member of Parliament from Korogwe is going to call and see if he can do anything over the phone, but there is no guarantee. With the daily fees racking up, we have to get the container released this week. We need the Lord to go before Herbert and send him back to Korogwe within a couple days with that check.
