Container Crunch Time

We still need your urgent prayers for the container. The grace period has ended and now the Port Authority is charging money everyday it sits. We were approved for the tax exemption, but are waiting for the check to be issued from the government which can take weeks. In addition, they are still charging a lot to release the container, although we praise the Lord it is less than originally quoted. We know the check can be issued if we can talk to the right person. Herbert has met with a member of Parliament who will introduce him to the Minister of Finance. If the minister decides to help us, he can give an order to release the check within a couple days. We could then pick up the check in Dar es Salaam and bring it to the Port in Tanga. We need to get it ASAP to avoid adding fees to what is already being charged.

We would be so thankful for your prayers for the following:

1. That Herbert would find the minister of finance tomorrow and that he would agree to help us get the check issued ASAP.
2. That the check could be picked up in Dar and quickly taken to Tanga.
3. That God would provide all the funds we need to release the container. We are already seeing His hand at work in this situation.
4. That the container would be in Korogwe before the team arrives next Tuesday,
