I feel like we have been asking for so many prayers lately. I hope you all don't mind one more. Over the last 24 hours, we have felt under serious spiritual attack. It seems like the perfect time for the enemy to try to hurt us. We know he is real and out to stop the Lord's work. In the midst of everything going on (preparing to leave, getting ready to deliver soon, the container, the team etc), we have tried to remain strong and gear up for the battle, but I will admit to feeling extremely burdened, anxious, discouraged, and so many more emotions right now. All the stuff going on should be sources of joy instead, we are facing great challenges. Without going into the details right now, I just want to ask you to pray for us. Ask God to stop the enemy's attacks against us and against others here. The team will be here in 8 hours and we want to be an encouragement to them, not drained from recent issues. Please pray for unity among the ministry members - that we will stand together to accomplish God's will. And for me and George, ask that our joy be renewed in full and that our faith will grow stronger than ever before and that in the midst of tough times, we will not waiver, but trust in God for everything.
(Thank you for letting me be vulnerable. It's easy for me to put on a brave front and act like I am fine. But, I need to be real with you, our prayer warriors and ministry allies. I am overcome by gratitude for your love and support in times of need.)

Praying for you now to be strong and courageous in the Lord. He's got this and he's got you and George and the baby. LOVE YOU! (XOXO Heather Baldwin)
ReplyDeleteHi - please remember that when you bare your soul and ask for prayer, that very act is a ministry to us, your prayer team. We have seen God do some incredible things in your lives and the lives of those around you. Hang tough, keep praying, and be assured of my prayers. Love to you and George and Jr.

Prayer for you:
ReplyDeleteLord please place an iron fence of protection around Stacie, George and the team. Surround them with peace, serenity and tranquility as they do your work. Open the hearts of those they encounter so they are ready to receive your word. May they receive no evil intervention. Bind it. Crush the enemy with your power and let your light shine. Infuse the George, Stacie and the team with your love, your kindness, your strength and your power. Keep them healthy and may they sleep well so they are ready to work for you each day. Love them Lord so they can love others. Thank you Jesus. Amen. (Karen :)
Hi Stacie,
ReplyDeletePraying for you right now and will be throughout the day and night. "Greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world," came to my heart upon reading your request. And, as Chuck Smith says, Satan may be a roaring lion looking for whom he may devour, as Scripture says, but he's a toothless lion to believers, because Jesus is our mighty Overcomer and Protector, the First and the Last, the Alpha and Omega, Almighty God, the Lion of Judah, our great High Priest, who understands our weaknesses, has experienced our temptations and trials, and knows what you are going through. Nothing happens in our lives that He doesn't allow. He will never leave you or forsake you. He is with you right now, whether you feel Him or not. Pastor Matt preached on Psalm 27 this week -- David's psalm of simultaneously proclaiming the goodness of God, that "The Lord is my rock and my salvation" and also crying out for the Lord to save him from his very real enemies who were trying to kill him. Our Jesus and heavenly Father is shielding you under the shadow of His wings. It just doesn't feel like it right now because the enemy is trying to intimidate you. But our God says, "My power is made perfect in weakness." and Paul said, "When I am weak, then I am strong."
Our love to you and George -- we are with you in spirit and prayer. Karen & Harry
