Nala is a Daddy’s girl. It’s so cute to see how much she loves George. When he is in the room, I don’t exist. She respects him, listens to him and adores him. While he was in Kenya, Nala would sit at our bedroom door and cry for him even though I was sitting in the living room willing to spend time with her. And when we are both in the living room, she faithfully sits at his feet. I love this picture of her. She is sitting under his chair with her head on his feet. She is a great example of man’s best friend.
And here is a bonus photo of Nala being naughty. She chased this poor cat up a tree.

Libby is the same way with my Father in law...she loves him to death and sits by the door waiting for him to return from a day of golf. My mother in law is the food provider, water provider and poop cleaner upper, but Libby doesn't have anything to do with her. She is a one man dog! Unless, of course, I am keeping her for a week, then she is all mine again!

Hahaha. So cute. Sometimes I want to tell Nala... hey... I feed you too. I love you too! Wouldn't matter. She only has eyes for George. (By the way, I recently told George how Libby wouldn't come down the stairs in the morning until you announced her presence. Ladies and Gentlemen... Libertarian!)
ReplyDeleteI love that you remember stuff like this!!!

So cute! What a laugh! (Except for poor you -- so unloved -- sigh! Ha ha) Nala's not really being naughty chasing the cats -- it's just the way dogs are made! (From me, the cat lover). Karen T.
