Today Eli is four weeks old. In some ways, it seems like he just got here. He is doing well. We are still working on feeding and sleeping. Two things which have challenged us these past weeks. They are improving, but I have my eye on six weeks and three months when I hear things just get a bit easier and better. Until then we move along in Zombie Land. Last night he was up from 2:30 am - 5:00am. Naughty...
I have always thought babies' heads are so cute from behind. Eli's is no exception. From the front, you may think he is bald, but he's got some nice hair back there.
In other news, George's trip to Tanzania was successful. He did the ministry stuff he needed to do and was able to check on Nala, who seems to be doing better. In a week, we have our appointment at the US embassy to get Eli's US citizen paperwork (including passport) taken care of. Then we'll be heading back to Tanzania to meet Alan, Shannon and two eye doctors on October 11th. We still need to get our work permits, so please be praying for that.
4 weeks already! Yeah Eli and yeah Mom and Dad for making it! Your doing great and yes it will it easier or maybe better said is you get better at it :)
