Embassy Appointment

Tomorrow morning we leave for Nairobi for Eli's appointment at the US Embassy. We'll be applying for his passport, social security card and reporting his birth (necessary when a child of a US citizen is born abroad).

Please be praying for our appointment which is on Tuesday morning. The people at the embassy are known for being tough, unfriendly and sticklers. Please ask the Lord to be with us during our appointment - that we would have all the required documents and not have to come back another time. Please also pray for our bus ride - that the roads would be safe and that Eli would do ok. It's an eight hour journey and I am anxious about doing that with an infant.

If all goes well, we'll be back in Kisumu on Wednesday. We'll try to update you from Nairobi if possible. Otherwise, we'll post an update once we get back.
