Sorry I have been out of touch lately. Our internet has not been working that well. Not too much has been happening. We have just been hanging out. On Monday we'll be going to Nairobi to get Eli's US passport and citizen documents taken care. Our appointment is on Tuesday at the embassy and if all goes well, we'll go back to Kisumu on Wednesday. Then in 16 days from now, we'll leave Kenya to go back to Tanzania. We still don't have our work permits, but we are going to go back with a 90 day visitor visa and see if we can get them while we are there.
Eli is doing ok. The last few days he has been extra fussy and may have colic. We are just trying to comfort him as best as we can which means lots of walking and rocking by dad... and little sleep for all three of us!
Until the next update... I leave you with a few photos...
(How cute are these little feet?)
(I love seeing traces of Eli in our lives... even seeing his laundry hanging on the line makes me smile.)
(Eli is very gassy. Here is George helping Eli to get things moving by doing leg exercises. What I love about this photo is George's shirt says "I Love Poop!")
(Eli had his first play date. George's cousin, Emma, had a girl, Tamara, two weeks before Eli. On my birthday, actually. Tamara is a little chunk. Eli looked especially scrawny next her wearing his grandpa pants.)

I love the pictures. Eli has toes like mine that separate....it will help keep him steady when he walks! :) Geo's t-shirt is classic! I bought a onesie for a friend's baby that said iPoop. I thought I would die laughing in the store!
ReplyDeleteLove you guys!
Amy
