Any Questions?

I was just emailing someone about my blog and I had an idea. Sometimes I wonder what people think of my blog. Is it ok? Is it telling people what they want to know? Anyway, since I have no idea what people think or want, I just post whatever is on my mind that day, whether it be a prayer request, update, funny story/picture, etc. I started the blog so people would know how I am doing and get to know what life in Tonj is like.

So, my question for you is: Do you have any questions for me? Is there anything you would like to know about life here? If so, leave a comment with your questions and I will do a future post answering them, if there are any.

Thanks for reading!

  1. I LOVE your blog! You know I live vicariously through you so it means so much to me! Everyday my routine is: check my email, check Stacie's blog, check Facebook. See, you are a bigger icon than Facebook! I especially love that you post what is on your mind for the day. Please keep posting...even more if possible, but I know that can't always happen. And I love the introductions to the staff! That is really helping me so when I get there, I might know some of them!

I do have a question......how slim are you these days? You look fantastic!

    Love you!

  3. I have really enjoyed reading your blog and like Amy it is part of my daily routine that I look forward to. I have found the medical adventures fascinating, but it's all great and interesting. Love the photos too!

  4. Ditto, ditto, and ditto. I think you are doing a fabulous job filling us in on what is going on. I am also vicariously living through the blog. Thanks so much for taking the time to do it. It will be so great for you to look back on after you come back to the States (assuming you do come back).

  5. I love your blog. You are so transparent. You share the good, the bad and the ugly. It's great! Life in Tonj is so different from anything I know that everything is interesting. I think you should make it into a book when you come home. Karen @ Aloha

  6. Stacie,

Keep up the excellent work! I look forward to reading your blog after work and having the opportunity to show the boys all of the wonderful things you are doing. I second what Karen said...when you come home, I think you should seriously consider turning it into a book! Your writing style is engaging and honest, and your stories are a good blend of the positive and negative aspects of Tonj...embedded with your humor. Your blog shows how much you appreciate the little things in life (like flushable toilets)and how this experience is changing you and molding you into a stronger (not to mention more flexible) person! =)

    Love you and miss you,
    Angie

  7. Like everyone else I love your blog. I have sent it to some of my co-workers and know they enjoy reading it too. My favorite part is the pictures so I know what everything and everyone looks like. Can't wait to see the rap video if you can get it up.
