Nyangeu was reunited with her dad today. We found out he moved about thirty minutes away so Sabet drove to the village to pick him up. Nyangeu was really quiet when she saw him and cried hard when they drove away. Her little mind is probably so overwhelmed and confused. In addition to the trauma of being shot in the head, she had to adjust to living in a hospital, living in the house with Suzy and the kids, staying with us one night and now returning to the village. I'm sure she has no idea what is going on. I'm glad I was able to spend some time with her today. She is a spit fire! I praise God for saving her life.

Stacie! I just wanted to write you and say hello. It is incredibly encouraging to read all your posts. It makes me miss Tonj! You and the team there are really doing amazing work there. It is so humbling and wonderful to hear. I LOVE the idea of the PSAs! I remember Sabet telling me about his idea to broadcast the World Cup and I was excited about it then, but to also include PSAs that teach the people such needed information... wow! What an amazing opportunity for you guys again to shine brightly for Jesus in Southern Sudan. I also loved your blog on "Things That Make Me Happy in Sudan". It made me laugh but it also made me smile inside because I can see that you're choosing to find your happiness and inner joy in the simple beautiful gifts of the day that God brings you. We're grateful to hear that so far there's been peace during the elections... we'll pray that it will continue. WE MISS YOU, Stacie, but are also jealous for the tremendous kingdom work you're doing there. Keep your heart happy and light and look to the Father at all times! With love and joy, Alicia (and Tim)
