Matoch on the Mend

Matoch came today to get the stitches removed from his nose. He is doing so well. I love hearing him yell "Yar" when he sees me. Here is a picture of me and Matoch before the stitches were removed:

His face will continue to heal as time goes by. He is still having nightmares throughout the night. The doctor in Nairobi said it was post traumatic stress disorder. Dennis prescribed him some medication to help him sleep and we'll review him after one week.

Thanks for your prayers. He really is a miracle. I wish I could post the picture of him when first came to us, but it is really graphic. If any of you want to see it, I can send it to you. The before and after is incredible.
