Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! We had a wonderful church service today. We started with a special kids service. Joseph Kuol led songs in Dinka and then I told the gospel story while Sabet translated. Then, we did an Easter egg hunt. We had about 18 kids there. They had a great time running around finding the eggs stuffed with cross necklaces, candy and toys. We gave the little ones a head start and then the older ones got to join in. Afterward, it was time for our regular church service. The kids joined us for worship. They each were given a kazoo, tambourine or a harmonica. It was so cute to see them playing their instruments along with us. After a time to greet one another and communion, Sabet taught about the resurrection and gave reasons why it was true. It was a special time. I love my church in Sudan! We have people from so many nationalities worshiping together (Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, Sierra Leone, United States).
