Picnic
Today I had the best day I have ever had in Sudan. After church we went on a picnic! So simple, but so lovely. We drove out to the "picnic tree" which is in the middle of nowhere. We ate lunch (tuna sandwiches, apples, crisps and soda). Once we finished lunch, we just hung out under the tree for a while. It was so relaxing and refreshing to lay down under the tree and look up at the sky. Occasionally people would walk by or ride their bikes by, but other than that we were all alone. It was so nice to chat and laugh. I think it was the first time I have truly exhaled while being here. I felt really at peace and loved being right where I was. Here are a few pictures of our picnic.
