Sad News About Achol

I am so sad to be writing this, but Achol and her baby died. We were given information on the wrong patient. Apparently once Achol got to Wau, she was made to wait another day before they did surgery. We don't know why. I think the baby had died at that point and Achol died during surgery. We don't know the reason for her death. Our hearts are heavy and we ask you to pray for her family. There are now four children without a mom.

    Oh how heartbreaking! I'll be praying for her family, and all of you who worked so hard to save her!

    Wow, I was just getting on to comment about the previous post. I will definitely be praying for all of you and them. But it is sooo good to know our God is a good God, who knows so much more than we do.

    I'm so sorry. I can't imagine the heartbreak the family must be going through and the frustration that you all must be feeling for Achol to not have been cared for in Wau. Lord, help us get your medical clinic built for your people in Tonj!
