Sure, I miss my family and friends, but I really miss my cats! I have been missing snuggling with Mac and Emma. In Sudan they have stray cats around, but no one has them as pets. In the compound we have several stray cats who help eat bugs and other unwanted creatures. Almost all of them are scared of people. They won't even come close (believe me, I have tried!). However, there is one cat, Sasha, who is friendly. She'll will come around us and let us pet her. Even though she won't let me hold her for very long (I probably shouldn't hold her anyway), she has become my Mac and Emma substitute until I come home.

Cute cat (wait, did I say that?) glad you found a buddy to keep you company. I know Mac and Emma miss you too!

You could always get a goat! Don't laugh...you just might consider it!

Goats don't purr though... Plus they are hard to catch and I'm fairly certain they don't want to snuggle with me!
