Yesterday afternoon George left on a quick trip to Nairobi. He took a bus since it is much cheaper than driving when he is alone. Along with the medical camp arrangements, there are a few personal things we have had to do while we are here. Things we can't get done in Tanzania. One of those things was renewing my Kenyan residency. It took us eight months to get it issued two years ago and it was set to expire in less than two weeks, which could potentially cause some visa issues for me. George arrived in time last night to welcome Gary (the leader of the API team) at the airport who arrived ahead of the rest of the team to work on camp stuff. In the morning George went to Immigration and had no problem renewing my residency. It was such an answer to prayer as we never know how long these types of things will take or what will be required. It's a huge relief to be done with that for another two years. George took a bus back to Kisumu and made it home safely by evening.
Thank you Lord!
