Our time in Kisumu is wrapping up. We have been very busy with the medical camp preparations as well getting some personal stuff done. Yesterday we went to the camp site in the village as well as the hotel to check up on some last minute details. The trip went well. Tomorrow the team is driving up from Nairobi. We are so excited to meet up with them. When we get to the hotel we’ll be packing medicine that will be given out during the week.
We may not have internet access so we’ll update you as soon as we can. Please remember us in your prayers. That the team will not get sick, that many people will get medical help and that many will come to know the Lord.
Eli could still use your prayers. His fever is mostly gone, but he still is having trouble sleeping. It has made for terrible nights for us and George and I are exhausted. During the day, Eli has been whiney, clingy, crying often over small things, frustrated and naughty. This is not the Eli we are used to. I think it’s a combo of having the flu, teething, being out of his routine and the beginning of the terrible twos. Pray for us too, for abundant patience and grace with him.
