Nothing much has gone on here this week. We are continuing to adjust to life with Eli which has been challenging at some points. We have been struggling to get the hang of feeding and for that reason we haven't been out of the house a lot. I think the only outing we had was the doctor on Monday. We took him for his one week check up and she said he is doing just fine. She answered all our questions and put our minds at ease about a few things.

(We don't have a lot of newborn sized clothing because I didn't think we would have a small baby and babies grow out of those so quickly. So, we have had to put him in some of his 0-3 month clothing which is huge on him! He looks like an old man with his high waist paints!)
That is so awesome!! Grandpa Eli...funny, funny! Isn't it amazing how much power a baby has??? They can keep you indoors, awake and on your toes at all times! You will get the hang of it....soon you will have a routine and a rhythm and you will forget about the first few weeks of no sleep and no answers! That's what makes us want to have more babies....

He is beautiful - and so are you!! He will grow out of the 0-3mos sizes before you have time to get more. Don't give up on the feedings, the Doc says he is doing well. I am so happy for you and George. Eli has definitely taught you who is in charge -- him. My prayer life has a new element of joy for you three. Isn't it fun to see what God enjoys doing. ReplyDeletetook aidan & me 6 weeks the figure out the latch :/ no fun, but we figured it out & it was well worth the tears (for both of us) since what God makes is best <3 oh & yeah you are beautiful! wow, you just had a baby & glowing big time :) take care sweet momma & enjoy your precious gift, this itty bitty stage goes too fast :')
