Our bus left Nairobi Tuesday morning and we decided to get off in Kericho instead of Kisumu. Kericho is a town about two hours from Kisumu. George worked in a hospital there before and after he worked in Sudan. Because he knows the staff well (and I can tell is well liked by everyone!), he thought it might be a good place for me to deliver. The place is older than the hospital in Kisumu, but the staff is more caring.
Tuesday night, we spent the night with a friend of his, who has offered to let us use his house when we come for the delivery while he stays with a neighbor. (So sweet). This morning, we visited the hospital where I was able to get a check up and meet the doctor who would be delivering me. I also got a chance to see the labor ward and see where the private rooms are. Lastly, I met with the matron (the head nurse in charge at the hospital) who answered all my questions and reassured me they would take good care of me.
It's nice to have settled where I will be delivering. George and I got back to Kisumu this afternoon and will stay in town for another week. We will then head back to Kericho with two weeks left before the due date.

I can't believe the baby will be here in 3 weeks. Time has flown by! Can we get some more baby bump pics before it's no more? Safe travels and delivery! Love you Orwa's!
