Last night I was attacked by a bat. It was awful.
We had a storm last night and it rained for a bit. While I was trying to sleep, I heard a tiny meow behind my room. Upon further investigation, I discovered one of Sasha's kittens trapped between a bamboo fence and a chain fence. I tried to get her out, but she would not come to me. Sabet also tried, but the kitten was too scared to come. I tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't ignore the meow. So, I decided to see if I could find Sasha. If Sasha was there, maybe the kitten would come out. Pritty tried to get the kitten out and then joined me in my search for Sasha. He was there for the brutal attack. I was walking by the kitchen calling for Sasha when a bat flew in my face and landed on my shirt just below my shoulder!!! I began screaming and jumping around and it just clung on. Finally I flung my shirt out and it flew off. I couldn't stop freaking out for a few minutes. It was traumatizing. I guess it could have been worse, though. It could have flown in my hair and gotten stuck in there. (My friend, Julie's, worst nightmare!).
Update - we never found Sasha and I haven't seen or heard the kitten since last night.

Thats it....I'm shaving my head!
ReplyDeleteI always thought the worst thing would be one of those praying mantis things stuck in my hair (mainly because of the long spindly legs coming off in my hair!), but a bat in my hair would be the worst!

That is frightening and aweful! Thank goodness it did not get stuck in your hair :)
