Saturday morning, I finalized contracts, suspension letters and a termination notice for the clinic staff. Suzy, Sabet, Dennis and Caleb met with all of them for a lengthy meeting. They all voiced their complaints and Sabet and Suzy responded accordingly. They were strongly talked to about they way they treated me and Suzy as well as purposely trying to hurt the clinic. As a result, most were suspended without pay for three days and one was terminated. Later Dennis and Sabet met with them one on one to tell them their fate. One of the two guys who was the most aggressive with me was let go and the other was suspended. The one who was suspended came and apologized to me. As he was talking, all of me wanted to say how mad I was and that I didn't forgive him. There was a pause after he finished where I had an internal battle. Then through God's strength not mine, I thanked him for apologizing, said I forgave him, apologized for losing my temper and asked that we put this behind us. It was so hard! I don't know why I want to hold onto it and hold a grudge. I do feel better about it today and pray that when I see the others, I won't hold onto bitterness.
The rest of the day was very relaxing. Some of us hung out for a while in the devotion area laughing, talking and listening to music. Then when it started to rain, I went to my room to read and then fell asleep. I don't know how long I was asleep, but I woke up suddenly to the loudest thunder and lightening bolt I ever heard. I jumped out of bed so fast, put on my boots and ran outside! It scared me so bad!!! I did not want to be alone. The other girls were outside too so we just stayed there and talked. Margaret, Jessica and I sat out on the veranda enjoying girl talk and laughing. We had a really nice time.
Days like that are rare, but so wonderful.

So glad you were able to forgive through God's power! I will be praying as you see the others for the first time in a a few days. It is always the worst getting woken up with thunder and lightning!!
