8 Months

Our little giant is now 8 months old.  This month didn’t have any huge developments. He just seemed to work on his existing skills: sitting, eating, babbling, etc.  He has learned to waive “hi” but it’s hit and miss when he will actually do it.  He eats little bites of food, but doesn’t love it all the time.  He is very content with his bottle.  His teeth growth stalled at seven.  We thought he had eight and more coming, but it turned out to be only seven.  He still wakes up during the night; something we hope to end with a little sleep training coming soon.   His health was great this last month and he keeps on growing.  We are so thankful for the new clothes in bigger sizes he received from the US.  It’s so fun to dress him every day.  Eli loves playing in the cart at the grocery store.  He can pull himself up to a stand from sitting.   He has just as much fun in the basket!

His walker is the best thing we have for him right now.  It gives him some independence and keeps him entertained, making it easier to get a few things done around the house.

I think this next month will bring new things. I can’t wait to see what they are!

(Here he fell asleep in his stroller while biting on a ring!)

Here he is looking like a big boy in his overalls!

And playing with Nala while clutching a package of Pop Rocks he stole (thanks Bec!).  Don't worry, he didn't eat any.
