Today George and I went to the attorney general's office and got legally married. The pastor officiating our ceremony is not able to sign our marriage certificate so we had to sign the marriage certificate today. George's sister and brother in law were our witnesses. It was very surreal since we were in the same office, with the same attorney general, in January witnessing their marriage ceremony. The ceremony was very short but had all the basics - vows, rings, pronouncing us man and wife. Then we all signed the certificate making it official. So, by law.... I am a wife! Sunday is our official wedding when we will formally be Mr. and Mrs. Orwa.
Of course during the ceremony, my camera died so I only have a picture of us before the ceremony. Fortunately, George's brother in law had a camera and took a video and got some photos as well. As soon as I get those from him, I will post them.
Congratulations Mrs. Orwa! I'm so excited for you and George to start your lives as husband and wife. May God bless your ceremony day with many wonderful memories!

Congratulations you two! I follow your blog even though I don't comment. It is crazy to think that it has been nearly a year since I have seen either of you. Maybe we will see each other again in time.
