Check, Check

I am an obsessive list maker. I love to make lists and check things off as I finish them. The reason I love to make lists is because they keep me organized and sane. I have a terrible short term memory and if I don't write things down, I forget to do them. If I forget to do things I freak out. I hate the feeling of wondering if I have forgotten something. It stresses me out. So I make lists. Everyday I make a to-do list so I can stay focused and get things done. Now that I am working, I have time to get prepared for leaving next month. I have a giant list of things to do before leaving.

Yesterday I woke up early was ready to attack my list. I started by getting my birth certificate and social security card. I was dreading doing this and thought both would take a long time, but both county offices were very fast and efficient. It was great! Later I worked on my photo board (for when I share at Rancho del Rey) and began sorting my room. Its time to start packing stuff, if it's not a precious momento or I am not taking it with me when I leave, I am getting rid of it.

Four items to check off the list. Check, check, check, check. That feels so good!
