Valentine's Day
Last night, George and I celebrated Valentine's Day by going out to dinner at a place call Duke of Breeze. It's located on the roof of the hotel and has nice views of the city and lake. Since we rarely go out for dinner (maybe once a month), it was a special treat. Instead of their regular menu, Duke's offered a three course meal: starter - tomato soup, main course - steak or stuffed chicken, dessert - chocolate cake. George's brother, Dave, joined us (we couldn't leave him at home alone!) and the three of us split two meals, one steak and one chicken. The food was amazing. It was nice to have some American food. I was worried that George and Dave wouldn't like it, but they did. We had a really nice night with good food and lots of laughter.
