Finally!!!

Yesterday I spent a few hours at one of the malls, Yaya Center, while Gordon worked. I did some window shopping, grocery shopping and ate at Java House. Java House is a really yummy restaurant that serves American food. I always saw the carne asada burrito on the menu, but was too afraid to try it. My experience eating mexican food outside Southern California has not been good. But, I decided to be brave and order it. I was pleasantly surprised. The burrito, beans and guacamole were really good!

After Gordon picked me up, we went back to town where I tasted another traditional Kenyan food, Uji. It's like porridge. They served it in a GIANT gourd. I couldn't believe someone could drink all of that. Gordon said some people drink two or three of them. I only got one fourth of the way through and Gordon had to help me out. Later, we walked around a bit, went to the roof top building again and then met a friend of his to watch the football (soccer) game. This was the last game before the final. I still owe Gordon a milkshake so I was determined to win it back. He was going for Germany and I for Spain. Spain won!!!! Finally I picked a winner!
