We returned to the hospital on Sunday and saw the pediatrician. It looks like Eli has an ear infection that has caused him to be so sick. We began antibiotics yesterday and are praying he begins to improve. Today he ate more than he has the last few days which gave us a little relief. We'll let you know how he progresses...
Thank you for praying!

Glad to have an answer. Has he been tugging on one ear, or both? If you think it is something more than that take him back (if you can). Usually the girls will have a higher fever in that one ear if its an ear infection.
ReplyDeleteLove you.
Ugh! Ear infections! I can't count how many ear infections Kristen had over the years! Almost every time she got a cold, then she would get an ear infection. Dimetapp will become your best friend, if you can find that there? I would start feeding her Dimetapp immediately at the onset of a cold to try and dry up the liquid that would eventually end up in her ears. Fortunately, Eli will improve greatly now that he has been diagnosed and given antibiotics! I'll be praying for you, friend!
