Dinner A La Gordon

Tonight, Gordon cooked a traditional Kenyan meal for us. We had fish (talapia), sakuma wiki (cale) and ugali. Since it was a traditional meal, I ate with my hands. It took some getting used to, but I managed. It was really yummy!

(To my Hurley friends... check out his shirt!)

(Me attempting to eat with my hands. It's harder than it seems!)

(Fish head anyone?)

  1. Hi Stacie,

You ate your food with a fish head on your plate? Who is this Gordon person? He must have magical powers to get you to eat things you wouldn't have touched 7 months ago. You wouldn't have stayed in the same room with a fish head 7 months ago. :) Karen @ Aloha.

  2. I'm amazed at the change! It appears the different foods touching. Talapia and kale. If I had served that you'd politely decline.

    Amazing!

  3. Actually, the fish head was on Gordon's plate. Fortunately we only had one fish, so I unselfishly gave up the head. :)
